Data Processing Agreement

Last updated: July 9, 2026

How data-protection responsibilities work for NYXDB depends on how it is deployed. Today, NYXDB is self-hosted software.

Self-hosted: you control the data

When you run NYXDB on your own infrastructure, any data your deployment processes stays there. You are both the data controller and the data processor for that data, on systems you operate. NYXL does not receive, store, or process data from your deployment, so there is no processor relationship for us to enter into for the self-hosted product.

A future managed offering

If we introduce a managed or hosted offering — where NYXL would process customer data on your behalf — we will provide a Data Processing Agreement covering that relationship, including sub-processors, security measures, and data-subject requests. This page is a placeholder for that document; no such offering exists today.
