cast_as_tinyint

Casts the input value to signed 8-bit range. Values outside [-128, 127] yield NULL.

cast_as_timeuuid

Casts to canonical UUID text. Existing UUID text is normalized; otherwise a deterministic UUIDv7-like value is derived from timestamp input.

cast_as_uuid

Casts the input value to canonical UUID text. Accepts UUID strings (with or without dashes) and 16-byte binary payloads.
