# Health and readiness

> Probing a running NYXDB node — started, ready and draining.

`GET /auth/issuers` is the readiness probe: it answers 200 when the node serves
requests and 503 while it drains.
`system.health_signals` reports the health of the node's components; see
[System relations](/docs/operations/system-tables).
