# Console

> Connecting the hosted NYXDB console to a node and running SQL from the browser.

The hosted console at [console.nyxdb.io](https://console.nyxdb.io) connects to
a node from the browser. Enter the node's address, sign in with your user name
and password, and the console opens a WebSocket session to the node.

From the console you run SQL, follow `STREAM SELECT` results live, browse
tables, views and transformations, and read the lineage of every derived table.
